Wondering how to clean your TSC? Let us help you out!

Picnic Rugs

The top side of the rug is water resistant, so if you get to spills pretty quick there usually isn't a mark. If it's liquid, simply lift the rug and let it run off. For thicker substances, we recommend wiping off with a napkin or baby wipe quickly. If it does dry or become harder to remove, the rug is spot clean/ hand-wash only. It's best not to put in a washing machine. We suggest a small amount of laundry detergent on the spot, then rinse. You can lay down flat or on a clothes line and hose off for larger messes too. Grass or fur can be removed with a lint roller and sand can be brushed away with a bristle brush, and excess can be vacuumed. Before storing away, please ensure the rug is completely dry!

Lunch Satchels, Lunch Bags & Lunch Totes

We recommend cleaning the inside of the lunch item by wiping with a wet cloth and spot-cleaning the outside if there are stains you want to remove. You can also rinse under the tap or hand-wash if it's had something spilled inside.

We don't recommend putting it in the washing machine, as this could damage the Velcro, the insulated lining and also affect the PU details. If you MUST machine was (at your own risk), please do so in a cool wash with the product inside a delicates bag. Before storing away, please ensure the bag is completely dry!

Silicone Lunch Items

Our Silicones are made from food grade silicone - USA standard and are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe! Silicone can hold smell and stains (think bolognese sauce!) so if you do experience this, there are way to clean this. By using a mixture of hot, soapy water and bi-carb soda and giving the silicone a good soak before popping in the dishwasher. You can also pop your Silicone in your oven at a low temperature for 30mins-1 hour to help eliminate odours (you can see our safety labels on the bottom of the item).

Water Bottles and Spare Parts

For cleaning our Water Bottles, we do recommend regular cleaning as often as you can - think every other day! To help eliminate the growth of mould and bacteria (yuck!), you can clean your water bottle in bi-carb soda, and hot soapy water, letting it soak for a while before scrubbing with a straw cleaner and letting it dry completely before using again. You can also pop this lid and straw in the dishwasher (top shelf only) for that extra clean!

Cutlery Kits

We love a matching set for our Cutlery! You will notice each item has a powder coated handle, which will withstand a Dishwasher clean, however we do recommend to put on the top shelf, and on a gentle cycle to prevent chipping.

Ultimate Totes, Weekender Bags, Everyday Totes & More

We know spills and marks can happen - hey we're only human! With any of our larger bags, we don't recommend to put these items in the washing machine. Best to spot clean with a gentle cleaning product (not to discolour the fabric) or dishwashing liquid and warm warmer may also do the trick!
